The Cuteness and the Mess
I frantically looked for a pumpkin on Halloween Day because, well, whatever with planning ahead. My kids have mostly outgrown Halloween but Liam emailed me from school (um, son, shouldn’t you be studying?) to ask for a pumpkin or a potato, because, according to him, we just need something to carve.
I found a pumpkin and Liam searched the internet for ideas. Now Liam has many wonderful gifts and I can sing his praises at length, but he has approximately less than an ounce of artistic ability. In the end, we would all just enjoy our time together.
So Liam cut the top open and I pulled the guts out because I’m apparently the only one in the house who doesn’t have sensory issues:
Then Liam got to work carving while Aidan had a sensory experience with the guts. Enjoy this video. As you can tell, Liam LOVES to be recorded!
You know what happened 30 seconds later, right?
Yes, guts everywhere.
But it ended well. And Liam found some crazy awesome artistic genes in him somewhere.
So how did you celebrated Halloween? Do tell…..
