BlogMaster Uncle Joshy is going to Mongolia today. Really. He’ll be teaching English to school aged kids. I’m super excited for him and dang proud that he’s making it happen. It’s my Thankful Thursday post, not because he’ll be so far away which will really stink, but because he’s setting a great example for my boys. Joshy is living life large. He’s an introvert who doesn’t have a super strong adventure streak but he gets out there anyway. Josh jumped into music school and moved himself to the other coast years ago because it seemed like a good idea. From there he ended up on some sort of very cool musical exchange in a jungle somewhere. He also had his 15 minutes of fame. Really…he opened for Pink. He took a three month course in teaching English in Prague which has now landed him in Mongolia. Instead of letting fear hold him back, he’s taking a risk. Liam is like Josh in many ways. Not a joiner by nature, and often a casual observer of life, he needs some prodding to get out there.
So I’m thankful that I can now say, “Well, Cool Uncle Joshy went to Mongolia. What are you gonna do?”
