Stop the Presses! It’s Thankful Thursday Special Edition
Check this out:
Did you see my boy’s name at the end? Liam had an amazing opportunity today to shadow Deb Cram from the Portsmouth Herald. She’s the photojournalist who did the fabulous video and print spread for Aidan’s van. So today started with Liam shaking Rick Perry’s (GOP presidential contender) hand and then filming protestors at his meet and great. Ooooh, history in the making. I love it! Then he headed out to Hampton Beach where wounded warriors were going surfing. Liam got to interview this soldier who I believe has an amputated leg. I can’t help but love that Liam got to see adults with disabilities having a blast. Liam got to see Deb editing the footage. When I went to pick him up, I got to see the presses running. The room smelled like paper and the machines are loud and it’s super cool, just like the movies.
Today I’m thankful that Liam lived a day that made me jealous.
