Heather brings the voice of parents to class when she teaches health professionals about the family perspective of caring for a child with special needs, a.k.a, Super Powers.  She validates the importance of parents as partners in the health care of children.

I enjoy speaking to groups about parents and professionals working together. I also enjoy sharing our story with community groups in hopes of helping others become more comfortable interacting with people with disabilities and supporting their families.
