Ripple Effect – Part 2
On a day when a woman was getting tested to see if she had cancer, she stopped to read about Aidan. I imagine she was doing everything she could to muster all her courage just to get through the day. She decided to buy some Team Aidan raffle tickets. Then, on a day I imagine she needed her friends reaching out to her, she decided to reach out to someone else. She said, “Pay it forward with these tickets. Write someone else’s name on them.”
I recently had a discussion with a friend about how awkward it is to ask for help and put our need out there. She replied people want the opportunity to help. I like to think that on that day, our story and Aidan’s blue eyes helped that woman step out of her fear, if only for a moment.
